Prepare for Transitions

Prepare for Transitions

I am most excited about finally to be able to be an RN. I am excited to get my first job and finally be able to practice all the things that I have learned. I am a little nervous to be out in the real world and have my first job. I know that I will have a lot of help and support my family, friends, and coworkers. I think that I will celebrate by taking a mini vacation before taking my NCLEX. Then I will plan on taking my NCLEX as soon as I finish my classes to be able to get started as soon as possible. I think that I am most anxious about my first day as a nurse. I know that once I get used to the floor and get in a routine that I will be fine, but I am nervous for my first day.

I think that to plan my week I will make sure to look at all my assignments on Sunday night to be able to prepare my week. When I plan my week, I will look at what assignments are of high priority and if I have an exam that week. I will put any assignments that are due Wednesday on Sunday night to be able to get those done first. Then I will continue the week on from there. I think to be able to plan week and stay focused, I will prioritize what tasks are most important and make sure to be able to study at least 15 minutes every day. I think that one of the most important aspects I learned from the modules was how to stick to a routine. I think that will be the most important thing for me to help be able to plan a schedule on how to study for the NCLEX-RN. I think that if a make a schedule and have a routine then it will hold me accountable to study and stay on track.
