In order for my team to be able to accomplish this project and be successful we need to utilize the resources that are available to us. The first resource we have already used was our clinical instructor. She was able to provide our team with some conflicts/issues that are currently present on our floor. I think that our clinical instructor will be a great resource because she sees these issues firsthand and now as students on this floor, we will be able see some of the issues when we are there. It would be important that each week we document new findings that could be useful to our project and communicate with the team on what we have found. I think that communicating during clinical and after clinical to debrief on the new findings would help us be successful in completing all the steps for this project. Obviously, communication is a very important factor for this project to go smoothly, so I think that if we do talk there shouldn’t be any conflict. If conflict were to arise it would need to be addressed immediately and I think we would all need to sit down as a group and talk through it.

This project will help not just me but my group to see the real-life problems that are present in healthcare. I think that just seeing these problems now will help prepare us for when we get jobs as nurses and must deal with these problems every day. I think that this project will help provide us with new perspectives on healthcare and keep us educated on new problems in the healthcare system. There will be benefits to completing this project, but there may also be some barriers. I think that some barriers could be not having enough resources or evidence to be able to support our claim. I think another problem could be a lack of support when it comes to trying to obtain evidence for our problem. In order to come over these barriers as team we need to find resources that are reliable and provide enough support for our problem. I think that the problem that we chose is an issue everywhere and research is problem being done at every hospital in order to resolve this issue. I think that the research that we get as a team can be taken to our future jobs. We can apply the knowledge that we gained through this project and provide interventions on how to resolve this problem at our future jobs.
